Familia Barberis is made from select grapes grown in our vineyards at the foot of the Andes Mountains.  This Malbec has a deep purple color that is full of red highlights.  Its aroma of cherry, white pepper anise and other ripened red fruits is also complemented by a touch of chocolate and vanilla that is the result of a delicate barrel aging process.  On the plate, this wine offers round and sweet tannins, as well as an enjoyable finish that highlights its time spent in French and American Oak barrels.  This solid example of Argentinean Malbec is an ideal companion for grilled red meats and pastas in a red sauce.
